Every piece carries the imprint of hands that shaped it. We create functional ceramics for those who believe objects should hold meaning beyond their use.
Each piece begins as raw clay from the Riverbed Quarry. We wedge, throw, trim, and fire every vessel by hand. No molds. No shortcuts. Just the rhythm of breath and the patience of craft.
Begin your piece→Each firing reaches 1280°C. The heat transforms clay into stone.
Firing cycle: 14 hoursEach piece in our showroom carries a card with its story — the clay body, firing details, and the maker's notes. You're not acquiring an object; you're adopting a narrative.

"An object made by hand
holds the memory of its making."
I commissioned a dinnerware set for our restaurant's anniversary. The way each plate catches the candlelight — our guests ask where we found them. I tell them they don't exist anywhere else.

Restaurant Owner · Portland, OR
The urn I ordered for my father's memorial arrived with a letter from the potter who made it. She described the clay source, the firing day, even the weather. It made something unbearable feel sacred.

As an interior designer, I've sourced ceramics from Japan, Denmark, and Italy. The quality of glaze work here rivals what I've seen in the finest studios abroad, but there's something distinctively honest about these pieces.

"The potter knows the clay will remember every touch. What we leave in the material stays there forever."
Consultation
We begin with conversation — your vision, your space, the way you live. Every commission starts with understanding before clay touches the wheel.
Creation
Three to six weeks of forming, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. We document the journey with photographs from the studio.
Completion
Your piece arrives with a handwritten note — the clay body recipe, the firing temperature, the date it left the kiln. The story continues with you.
Walk the studio with one of our makers. No pressure — just clay, wheels, kilns, and honest conversation about what you're seeking and what we can create together.
